and James!

May you take the Word of God (from your heart as well as your Bibles)

and share it UNASHAMED with those you meet with this summer!

James Lesson 5

Begin with a Jenga game.

Have some of the students build the "foundation" with Scripture with which to build our lives.

Then have other students take blocks away with Scripture warnings for our each of our characters.

Deliver the Wrap Up.

Have some students stand and read "well known" Scriptures (John 3:16, etc.)

Discuss the difference between knowing God's Word and delivering a testimony. Share how most people are moved to know Jesus or know Him more by our testimonies. Explain how many people are turn from God when Scripture is simply stated to them.

Explain how a real testimony only comes from true submission.

Knowing Scripture is where we begin to grow our faith. Sharing our testimonies ALONG WITH Scripture is submitting to God's direction in Matthew 28:19-20 "Go and make disciples..."
